The real estate prices in the city of Malaga increased at 11.98% year on year, and giving an average square metre price of 2.044 Euros.
Nevertheless this is slightly less impressive when comparing to the increases in Puerto Banus(25,2%), Torrox (25,60%), Torre Del Mar (20.61%), and Fuengirola (15,13%).

Another survey by Grupo Tecnocasa and the Pompeu Fabra University (UPF), which reviews the value in the main Spanish cities, places the region of Malaga among the leading group with a year on year increase of 12.29% in the first semester of 2018.
The largest increases were registered in Madrid (13.35%) and Barcelona (12.86%). Valencia, Córdoba and Seville also had increases above 10%.
According to the survey by Grupo Tecnocasa and UPF the nominal price of homes is still 37.52% below the historical highs (late 2006 – early 2007), and the current price level is similar to that of 2011.
