    A beautiful large white Andalucian mill house, currently used for holiday rentals, with 10 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, and private swimming pool, set in large, secluded gardens. It is a fantastic property that has everything to offer and more! The house is surrounded by hills and olive groves near the lovely Lake Iznájar and with excellent access to the vibrant cities of southern Spain: Granada, Seville, Córdoba, Ronda and Málaga. This unique and beautiful Andalucian Cortijo was a working water mill and bakery until the end of the 20th century, supplying bread to local farms and villages. The Old Bakery kitchen still features the original bread oven, but now has a restaurant grade cooker and a dishwasher too. In the grounds, you will find fresh herbs from the kitchen garden, pomegranate, fig, peach, and almond trees, sunny terraces, and a floodlit sports court, ideal for tennis, volleyball, or badminton. There is also a studio for indoor cinema (with projector and screen), yoga and Pilates and there is a Petanque Pista (the Spanish version of Boules), ping pong table, sandpit and of course a lovely private swimming pool. The exterior also boasts shaded dining areas, picnic spots next to the stream, a vine-covered courtyard, and big private gardens where children can run around safely. The land is flat and would be ideal for horses. Lovingly restored to retain all the character of the big old mill house, the accommodation is arranged into two wings around a central courtyard. The eastern wing of the house is renovated from the old mill, retaining its original features, with the main kitchen, living and dining rooms together with 5/6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. The other wing was formerly the house of the master baker and has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a second kitchen. This stunning property offers the option of having breakfast on the kitchen terrace (watching the antics of the ducks and listening to the hens laying your morning eggs), lunch in the vine-shaded courtyard, or ramble down to the stream with the children for a picnic tea and enjoy dinner by the pool in the evening. If you prefer to entertain guests indoors the dining room can seat up to 18 people and you can easily spread out into the adjacent Old Bakery kitchen which seats a further 10 guests.
